Use a browser like Mozilla Firefox or Opera. They have a lot of functions to hide your activities like the privacy-mode or to delete your tracks afterwards and they are not developed or published by one of the big companies like Apple, Microsoft or Google.
You have also the option to use a proxy. There is a large offer so you can be a bit choosy.
